Chia pudding is a healthy and nutritious dessert, made with very few ingredients and very easy to prepare. You will need: chia seeds, little tiny seeds that are packed with health benefits like calcium antioxidants, and Omega-3, coconut milk and a sweetener of your choice.
In this recipe I used maple syrup and I also added turmeric and lemon to make a delicious lemony pudding.
This high -rich nutrient dessert takes minutes to make and it is perfect for breakfast or as a snack option. It can also be put in glass jar, squeeze pouches or baby food jars.
As a final touch you can choose to add coconut cream, chopped walnuts and berries.
-1 can coconut milk, organic (13.5oz)
- ¼ cup water
- 2 lemons, juice
-1/2 tsp turmeric
- 5 tbsp chia seeds
- pinch of salt
- lemon zest of half lemon
-Add all the ingredients together and mix well.
-Pour the mix into glasses and let it rest in the fridge at least for an hour, preferably overnight.
